# Select Same

1. Select an object of which you want to find similar objects
2. Right-click, and click Select Same

3. Toggle the criteria you would like to search by. You can for example search for all objects of the same IFC Class in the same location (e.g. Floor or Space).&#x20;
4. Click Select.

Searching on similar **assembly** structure will only be enabled if the select product has an [assembly](/documentation/qonic-application/modeling/modifying/assembly-editing.md) structure of more than 1 level.

Searching on same **geometry** will only result exact geometric matches. This can also be used on a selection of more than 1 product, for example to find exact matching pairs of objects.
