# Flip Layers

To flip the layer order of a wall, slab or roof:

1. Under the *Detail* icon, click *Flip Layers*
2. Click the wall, slab or roof you wish to flip\
   **Note:** You may first have to split the wall, slab or roof into its respective parts. Use the [Split Into Layers](https://help.qonic.com/documentation/qonic-application/modeling/modifying/material-layer-editing/split-into-layers) tool for this.
