# Components

{% hint style="warning" %}
This article covers how to create and manage component libraries in the dashboard, and how to import components from .rfa files. For more information on how to use these components in your model, visit [this article](/documentation/qonic-application/modeling/components.md) on components in the app.

A component is a reusable definition - a window, a door, a piece of furniture, an MEP terminal - that you create once and instance many times. The result is models that are faster to assemble and easier to keep coherent.

To access your project components, head to the Components tab on the left-hand side. Here you will find an overview of all component libraries in this project.
