Connect planar building elements such as walls, slabs and roofs.
This tool allows you to connect two or more walls, slabs or roofs that were previously not connected, or change the connection type of the individual layers of these objects.
- Under the Modify icon, click Connect
- Choose a connection type: L or T
- Click the part you wish to connect to some other part
- Click the part you wish to connect the first part to. If the products consist of multiple building element parts, the individual building element parts with matching materials will be connected together.
- (optional) If you want to connect a specific individual material layer to another material layer, hold down the Ctrl key while selecting the parts.
It is possible to automatically connect a selection of multiple walls in one click. To do so, select the walls before starting the Connect tool.
