Add to Assembly

This tool allows you to add new parts to an already existing assembly.

  1. Select one assembly

  2. Under Modify, click Assembly and then click Add to Assembly

  3. Select one or more parts to add to this assembly, and press Enter

The selected parts will now be added to the existing assembly.

If an assembly is part of your selection set, it will be incorporated into the new assembly as a whole.

If a subset of an existing assembly is part of your selection set, its relation with its original assembly will be broken and it will become part of the new assembly.
